Seven Lakes Country Club. Nestled among the longleaf pines, Seven Lakes Golf and Country Club lies a 10 minutes drive from the Pinehurst Village. The 18-hole Seven Lakes course was designed by Peter Tufts, great-grandson of the founder of Village of Pinehurst Resort and opened in 1976.
Created in the tradition of Scottish architects of the early 19001s, Tufts cleverly adapted the creeks and lakes with the pine-lined fairways. Water comes into play on nine of the eighteen holes.
